With offices based in London’s iconic 20 Fenchurch Street, best known as the ‘Walkie-Talkie’, Markel Law LLP were an early adopter of ‘new ways of working’ and approached Hunters to look at alternative work settings.
They explored different options of creating various spaces for collaboration that were also fully flexible and allowed for further reconfiguration if required.
Our modular system, Calvert, was exactly what the client needed. The wall-based system, that allows you to create an interesting array of spaces with accessories for biophilia, storage and AV, was used to define breakout and meeting zones throughout the open plan floorspace.
Darcy high stools provided comfortable poseur height seating for drop-in desks, whilst high-back circular Fuse pods offer casual semi-enclosed meeting spaces. Additional lounge seating is introduced using Circe sofas, whilst power & data connectivity is provided through Keith tables.
The café area was also updated, with the introduction of Arny Lite booths and high back chairs, making this previously underutilised space into a flexible work/lounge area.
