When Gabriel, Europe’s leading supplier of furniture fabrics, refurbished their showroom in the heart of London’s Clerkenwell they chose a setup of our ‘Calvert’ modular system to offer both a practical and aesthetic element. The simple, functional design suits the paired back, industrial nature of the space, and acts as a visual separation between the show space and the functional work area whilst offering both display and storage opportunities.

The subtle light grey finish of the powder coated metalwork combines with Valcromat panels and PerfectSense laminate surfaces to offer a neutral backdrop for Gabriel’s richly hued and finely textured fabric ranges. Shelves and display boxes provide space to display swatches and binders, whilst hooks accommodate larger hanging samples of the fabrics creating a stunning display that can easily be updated. Storage cupboards can be accessed from the rear of the setup, and a drop-in desk acts as a discreet space for the printer to live, further enhancing the practicality of the piece.
