Designed with a nod to the functionalism of the Bauhaus, Otto balances clarity of form with an inviting character. A collection of armchairs, sofas and modular elements, it offers the flexibility to create refined seating schemes across a range of scales.
Soft upholstery is held within a slender steel frame, giving Otto its characteristic lightness. A spatially considerate design allows it to sit easily within tighter footprints, maintaining a presence and comfort that defies its minimalist spirit.
Made by hand in Britain, from the ground up, Otto uses a carbon-negative agricultural fibreboard structure combined with webbing and a choice of upholstery materials. Standard Otto uses engineered foam for consistency, durability and ease of specification, while Otto Foam Free replaces foam with layered natural materials including coconut fibre, wool and horsehair, offering an alternative material character. The steel frame is available in 24 colours.
